- participation in lectures - 20 hrs

Efekty uczenia się - wiedza
(po angielsku) Student defines the specificity of young people in different countries and understands a society through the diagnosis of youth.
Student has knowledge of:
W1. Youth as an psychological and sociological phenomenon
W2. Socialization processes in postmodern society;
W3. Demographic aspects of the situation of youth in contemporary societies;
W4. Changes in subjective and objective meaning of education
W5. Transition from education to employment;
W6. Arrangements of private life;
W7. Life aspirations, life styles and standard of living;
W8. Health and risky behaviors;
W9. Political attitudes and civil activity.
Efekty uczenia się - umiejętności
(po angielsku) Student is able to apply the acquired knowledge to:
U1. better understand a society as a complicated system of interactions, where youth point of view can be very helpful and motivating for changes;
U2. better understand the situation of youth as a social group of interest with important political power;
U3. make diagnosis of society and problems of youth
U4. discover, define and search for solutions to social problems (the example of youth).
Efekty uczenia się - kompetencje społeczne
(po angielsku) K1. Student has developed social awareness.
K2. Student demonstrates increased sociological imagination as well as social and citizens sensitivity.
K3. Student is able to enter and practice the intercultural and intergenerational dialog.
K4. Student better understands other cultures, other people and social groups.
Metody dydaktyczne
(po angielsku) Expository teaching methods:
- informative lecture with elements of seminar
- presentations prepared by students on chosen topics which are consulted with teacher first (three last seminars are devoted to such kind of work)
