(in Polish) W1: The student has in-depth knowledge of the contemporary American literary essay and is familiar with its distinctive features (K_W04),
W2: The student has advanced knowledge of selected historical, social, religious, philosophical and political issues determining the development of the American literary essay in the last two decades (K_W08).
Learning outcomes - skills
(in Polish) U1: The student is able to place American contemporary literary essays in a general historical and cultural context (K_U09),
U2: The student is able to analyze and interpret contemporary American literary essays with the use of basic terminology and appropriate methods (K_U11),
U3: The student is able to recognize the literary conventions of the contemporary American literary essay (K_U10).
