Assessment criteria
Assessment methods:
- written examination
- oral examination
- test
- activity
Assessment criteria:
1) Subject: Laboratory Diagnostic ends with a written exam (test of 60 single- choice questions), coverning the full range of topics for lectures and exercises. Minimum pass mark: 60% of all correct answers to the questions. The points obtained are converted into grades according to the following scale:
Percentage of points Grade
92-100% Very good
84-91% Good plus
76-83% Good
68-75% Satisfactory plus
60-67% Satisfactory
0-59% Fail
2) Within 3 days of the announcement of the results, the Student - in the presence of an academic teacher - has the right to inspect his work and the answer sheet.
3) After the end of the test examination - but before leaving the examination room - the student has the right to submit a written objection as to the substantive correctness of test questions or typographical errors. The reported objections will be verified before the results are announced. Upon acknowledgment of the objections raised, the reserved test questions will be provided skipped, which will reduce the number of points possible.
4) A student who has failed the examination has the right to take one retake examination in writing within the time limit set by the Head of the Unit - communicated one month in advance, or earlier with mutual consent. At the Student's request, in justified cases, the Dean may appoint the so-called commission exam.
5) During the exam, it is forbidden to use any teaching aids or devices that enable visual registration of examination texts or remote communication with other people (eg a mobile phone). The Student's behavior indicating the possession of the aids or devices referred to above, or the identification of such devices, will automatically result in an unsatisfactory grade on the exam and may result in referral to the Disciplinary Committee for Students.
6) Failure to submit to the exam is subject to the provisions of the Study Regulations (chapter VIII, § 36 point 6).
7) The final grade for the module will be the weighted average of the final grades obtained for each subject (weight depending on the share of ECTS points) in the module.
