Total student workload
(in Polish) 1. The workload related to the classes requiring the direct participation of academic teachers is: participation in lectures using distance learning techniques: 10 hours participation in exercises: 14 hours consultation: 0.5 hour final test: 0.5 hours The workload related to the activities requiring the direct participation of academic teachers is 25 hours, corresponding to 1 ECTS point

Balance of student workload: participation in lectures using distance learning techniques: 10 hours participation in exercises: 14 hours consultation: 0.5 hour preparation for exercises (including reading the indicated literature): 6.5 hours preparation for passing and passing: 6 + 0.5 = 6.5 hours The total student workload is 37.5 hours, which corresponds to 1.5 ECTS points

Learning outcomes - skills
(in Polish) U1: conducts a full and targeted physical examination of an adult patient (E K_U03) - learning effect implemented in the field of distance learning and in stationary conditions
U2: can perform basic medical procedures and treatments, including:
a) body temperature measurement, heart rate measurement, non-invasive blood pressure measurement,
b) monitoring of vital signs using a cardiac monitor, pulse oximetry,
c) spirometry, oxygen treatment, assisted and substitute ventilation,
d) insertion of an oropharyngeal tube,
e) intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, peripheral venous cannulation, peripheral venous blood collection, blood culture collection, arterial blood collection, arterialized capillary blood collection,
f) taking swabs from the nose, throat and skin, puncture of the pleural cavity,
g) urinary bladder catheterization in women and men, gastric probing, gastric lavage, enema,
h) standard resting electrocardiogram with interpretation, electrical cardioversion and cardiac defibrillation,
i) simple test strips and blood glucose measurement; (E K_U29) - learning effect realized in stationary conditions
U3: can keep patient's medical records (E K_U38) - learning effect realized in stationary conditions
U4: adheres to the principles of asepsis and antisepsis; (F K_U03) - learning effect realized in stationary conditions

Prerequisites
(in Polish) A student who starts training in the subject of surgical propaedeutics must demonstrate knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the gastrointestinal tract. It is checked in the form of an entrance test (20 questions).
