Learning outcomes - knowledge
Student knows basic rights and chemical nomenclature, possesses knowledge of the most important elements and their compounds, understands the states of matter, intermolecular interactions, phase equilibrium, knows the basic terms and analytical method of the contemporary inorganic and coordination, knows regulations of health and safety at work.

Learning outcomes - skills
U1: Is able to use chemical and chemical nomenclature as well as terms from general chemistry, correlate properties of the elements and their compounds with position in the periodic table, is able to correlate the materials properties with their contemporary applications, he can find relation between processes occurring during their formation and their physicochemical properties and structure.

Learning outcomes - social competencies
Student: independently and effectively works with a large amount of information, he recognizes the relationship between phenomena and correctly draws conclusions, he is able to think creatively, is focused how to complete their tasks in the best manner, acquiring new knowledge, skills and experience, he cooperates in a group, working systematically, takes care of environment.
