(po angielsku) W1: The student lists the basic groups of parasitic organisms found in humans (K_W14) W2: Student lists the possible ways in which humans acquire parasites in the evolutionary dimension (K_W07) W3: The student describes the life cycles of medically important parasites, and knows the principles of antiparasitic prophylaxis and how to proceed in the event of an invasion (K_W09)

(po angielsku) U1: The student analyses the reasons for the high prevalence of parasites in human populations in different climate zones and analyses the influence of cultural and social factors on the spread of human parasites (K_U03)

(po angielsku) K1: The student rationally and critically approaches information obtained from scientific literature, the Internet and other sources of mass media, as well as common beliefs regarding the dangers associated with human parasites in different climate zones (K_K02)

(po angielsku) Lecture with multimedia presentation and practical classes on recognizing selected species of parasites
