(po angielsku) W1: The student has in-depth knowledge of specialised variants of the English language that enables them to analyse and translate medical texts (K_W11) W2: The student has the knowledge of the language in accordance with the C1 + level requirements in academic English (K_W02) W3: The student has in-depth knowledge of the legal and ethical determinants of professional activity that are essential in the medical translator’s profession (K_W12)

(po angielsku) U1: The student is able to search, analyse and creatively interpret and use, in accordance with the selected research methodology, information from various sources, using advanced information and communication techniques during research and presentation of their results (K_U01) U2: The student is able to work in a team, performing various roles in it, including the leader’s role which allows to test the working environments in the translation profession (K_U09) U3: The student has language skills in line with the C1 + level requirements in academic English and specialist languages that enable them to translate more advanced (medical) texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish (K_U14)

(po angielsku) K1: The student is able to critically assess the acquired knowledge and information received from various sources and verifies the above (K_K01) K2: The student, in professional situations, is able to obtain information used to solve cognitive and practical problems that may occur in translation of medical texts (K_K02) K3: The student identifies and resolves legal and ethical dilemmas related to the performance of the profession (K_K05)
