(po angielsku) The student: W1: has in-depth knowledge of the grammar and vocabulary of the language/ languages at an advanced level. (K_W02) W2: knows the principles of interpreting LSP texts (K_W03) W3: has in-depth knowledge of the differences between the conventions used in Polish and English non-literary texts in the areas of the structure of the text, register, formulaic language structures (K_W13)

(po angielsku) The student: U1: is able to interpret a variety of texts (e.g. speeches, presentations) (K_U03, K_U04, K_U17) U2: is able to interpret from Polish into English and from English into Polish a variety of texts using various interpreting techniques (K_U05) U3: is able to interpret from Polish into English and from English into Polish a variety of texts using various interpreting equipment (K_U16)

(po angielsku) The student: K1: is aware of the the level of their linguistic and extralinguistic knowledge in Polish and in English, is aware of the need to develop this knowledge to interpret a variety of texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish (K_K01). K2: is able to apply in practice ethical standards binding in the translator’s profession, starting from accepting the assignment (task commencement) until interpreting performance (task completion). (K_K07) K3: is able to interpret a variety of texts that enable them to pursue a professional career (as a conference interpreter) (K_K08)
