(po angielsku) 1 ECTS = 30 hour workload per semester Contact hours with teacher: - participation in the seminar - 30 hrs - assigment-related feedback - 5 hrs Self-study hours: - homework (translating and editing) - 10 hrs - preparation for classes (reading, Moodle activities) - 10 hrs - revision for the final test - 5 hrs Altogether: 60 hrs (2 ECTS)

(po angielsku) The student W1: has advanced knowledge of specialist varieties of English, including academic discourse and marketing texts (K_W11) W2: has advanced knowledge of legal and ethical aspects of translator's professional activity (K_W12)

(po angielsku) The student U1: is able to respond to new working conditions and select appropriate methods and research tools accordingly (K_U03) U2: is able to use specialized information and communication techniques in the process of translation (K_U04) U3: is able to communicate in English with various groups of receivers while transfering specialized knowledge from a given field (K_U05)

(po angielsku) The student K1: is able to gather information in order to solve cognitive and practical problems in professional circumstances (K_K02) K2: is prepared to think and act in a way adjusted to market demands (K_K06)
