(po angielsku) Contact hours with teacher: - participation in classes - 30 hrs Self-study hours: - preparation for the classes, reading literature – 20 hours - preparation for the test – 10 hours Altogether: 60 hours (2 ECTS)

(po angielsku) The student W1: has in-depth knowledge of selected aspects of the literature of English-speaking countries. (K_W05) W2: has in-depth knowledge of literary studies. (K_W07)

(po angielsku) The student U1: is able to read and comprehend advanced literary texts in English (K_U02). U2: is able to use various communication channels and techniques to communicate with experts in various disciplines of Humanities in their mother tongue and in a foreign language (such as the internet, library research, e-mail) and to promote the knowledge they acquired during the course (K_U05). U3: is able to place the analysed works in a specific historical and cultural context (K_U09). U4: is able to critically analyse and interpret various texts, use specialist terminology and justify the selected methodology (K_U10). U5: understands longer utterances and lectures on topics related to their field of study as well as understands speakers communicating in English (K_U19)

(po angielsku) The student K1: is able to properly prioritise the task implemented by themselves or others (K_K03). K2: appreciates the tradition and cultural heritage of English-speaking countries (K_K05). K3: regularly participates in activities for preserving the cultural heritage of English-speaking countries by taking part in discussion and delivering presentations in class (K_K06).
