(po angielsku) 1. The graduate has advanced knowledge about methods of (critical) discourse analysis and linguistic strategies used to analyze texts. K_ W03; K_W01 2. The graduate knows in detail theoretical and methodological assumptions of various approaches in discourse analysis. K_W03

(po angielsku) U1: The graduate is able to read and comprehend advanced linguistic texts in the field of (critical) discourse analysis (K_U02). U2: The graduate is able to critically analyse and interpret various texts applying linguistic strategies, use specialist terminology and justify the selected methodology in the field of discourse analysis (K_U10). U3: The graduate displays advanced argumentation skills, is able to draw conclusions and prepare synthetic summaries based on the scholars' opinions and the analysis of texts (K_U13). U5: The graduate is able to recognise and analyse critically various genres of texts, such as television programmes or newspaper articles (K_U20).
