Computer assisted qualitative data analysis 2401-CS-MF-CAQDA-s2
Have you ever wondered what qualitative analysis is actually about? How theories and generalisations are developed in this type of research? How to deal with 70 interviews and thousands of pages of transcripts. Of course, you can cut out fragments (cut and sort), create summary charts (property matrix) or rely on your instinct (narrative technique). Or you can recognise that qualitative inquiry has grown and use CAQDAS (computer assisted qualitative analysis) software. In this course, we will learn the basics of the Maxqda program. We will learn to create databases (text, graphic, video), create a coding system, code, construct cognitive maps, analyse data. Participants will have the opportunity to achieve the class with their own analytical project.
