The Basics of User Experience 2400-OG-EN-TBUE

(po angielsku) The basis for passing the course will be completing all tasks and a short online test (maximum of two attempts) on Moodle. Hours with the participation of teachers (15 hours): - participation in the virtual lab - 10 hours (asynchronous) - consultations with the lecturer - 5 hours (asynchronous - using the Moodle platform and e-mail). Time devoted to individual student work (40 hours): - preparation for classes (reading literature, slides with lectures prepared by the lecturer, materials from exercises and problems discussed during classes) - 15 hours, - work on tasks – 15 hours - preparation for the test - 10 hours Total: 55 hours (2 ECTS) To make it easier for students to participate in the course without synchronizing schedules, students will engage with materials asynchronously and complete simple tasks that introduce the basics of UX design. Students can decide when to review the materials as long as they meet the assigned deadlines. One absence is possible. Each additional absence will result in a 0.5 grade deduction from the final grade. An absence is treated as a failure to complete the assigned task on time, which means that all tasks are expected to be completed, but one may be submitted later than the designated deadline without penalty. Each additional missing task will result in a reduction of the final grade. To pass the course, all assigned tasks and the final test must be completed.

(po angielsku) A student is capable of conducting a basic UX research study, creating simple wireframes and prototypes, and performing usability testing.
