Didactic goals of the subject:
The following issues will be discussed during the lectures: The concept of a job position, scope of duties, rights and responsibilities of a nurse; legal regulations regarding working time, shift work, working time distribution and workload in nursing positions; basic methods of organizing nursing care and their importance for the quality of this care. Planning your own work and that of subordinate staff; opportunities for career planning and conditions for one's own professional development; quality issues in health care.
The exercises are devoted to preparing and familiarizing the student with: Designing a nursing workplace, scope of duties, rights and responsibilities. Methods of organizing own and team work in nursing practice. Analysis of the work environment - threats, accidents at work, occupational diseases. Standards and procedures in nursing care. Planning professional development as a nurse.

Self-education is intended to develop the student's ability to independently acquire knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of organizing nursing work.
