Efekty uczenia się - wiedza
(po angielsku) W1: lists risk factors and health risks in patients of different ages and explains etiopathogenesis, clinical manifestations, course, treatment, prognosis and principles of care in internal medicine conditions ( D.W1., D.W2.),
W2: discusses the various reactions of the patient to the disease, hospitalization and knows the principles of diagnosis and care planning for internal medicine patients ( D.W3., D.W8.),
W3: lists and explains the types of examinations and diagnostic procedures performed in internal medicine and the principles of ordering them and preparing the patient for them, depending on the patient's condition and age, and discusses the principles of care during and after these examinations/treatments
(D.W4., D.W5.),
W4: lists the groups of drugs used in the treatment of various internal medicine conditions, the routes of their administration and their properties and effects on the patient's systems and organs, depending on the patient's age ii health status, including adverse effects and interactions with other drugs
( D.W 6.)
W5:discusses nursing standards and procedures used in the care of internal medicine patients, depending on their age and health status ( D.W 7.).
W6: discusses the principles of organization of care for the internal medicine patient ( D.W10.).
Efekty uczenia się - umiejętności
(po angielsku) U1: gathers information, formulates a nursing diagnosis, establishes goals and plan of nursing care for the internal medicine patient, implements nursing interventions and evaluates care (D.U1.),
U2: documents the patient's health situation, the dynamics of its changes and the realized nursing care, taking into account IT tools for data collection (D.U15.).
U3: provides guidance in self-care of patients with internal diseases of different ages and health status and prevention of complications occurring in the course of internal diseases (D.U2., D.U3.), U4: prepares the patient physically and mentally for diagnostic tests,
assists the doctor during their performance, performs and interprets basic examinations in internal medicine (ECG) to a basic extent, recognizes complications after specialized examinations and diagnostic procedures (D.U8., D.U10., D.U12., D.U23.).
U5: performs procedures for preparation and administration of drugs by various routes, including ad hoc administration of oxygen and monitoring the patient's condition during oxygen therapy, administers the prescribed dose of rapid- and short-acting insulin and modifies it ad hoc (D.U9., D.U11., D.U26.) U6: recognizes complications of pharmacological, dietary, rehabilitation and therapeutic and nursing treatment (D.U18.).

Wymagania wstępne
(po angielsku) Internal medicine nursing - a subject taught in the second year of full-time bachelor's degree in nursing in the form of lectures, practical classes, professional practice and self-study.
Classes in internal medicine nursing are aimed at theoretical and practical preparation of future nurses to provide care to patients with common internal medicine diseases.
