Nauki w zakresie podstaw opieki pielęgniarskiej: Podstawy pielęgniarstwa 1855-P1-NZPOPPP-S1Z
Lectures.
Fundamentals of Nursing is a subject in which the student learns the socio-professional roles of modern nursing and the directions of development of this profession, as well as the factors determining this development.
During the lectures, the student becomes acquainted with classical models and theories in nursing, which constitute the basis for the development of scientific nursing and constitute guides to practice. The basic theories discussed at the bachelor's level are: Florence Nightingale's environmental theory, systemic theories and theories that focus on assessing the degree of deprivation of human needs, such as V. Hendreson's theory. This theory by V. Henderson is based on A. Maslov's theory of needs and will allow nursing students to learn about the basic health needs of an individual, how to prioritize them and how to meet them.
Also during the lectures, the student will learn the basic work method, which is the nursing process, and all stages of this process. Learns the principles of data collection and data analysis in order to make a nursing diagnosis. When making a diagnosis, students learn to use the classification of diagnoses and nursing practice to plan care based on scientifically supported activities.
Practicals:
During exercises in the nursing skills laboratory, the student learns the principles and techniques of performing diagnostic, rehabilitation and therapeutic procedures assigned to a professional role. He acquires these skills in simulated conditions, and during practical classes and internships he has the opportunity to use the knowledge and skills acquired during lectures and exercises in patient care.
The subject provides the basis for acquiring knowledge and skills in clinical nursing.
