diseases in the field of: cardiology and cardiac surgery to a degree that allows rational application of physiotherapy measures (D.W3)
W2: principles of diagnosis and general principles and ways
of treatment in the most common diseases in the field of: cardiology and cardiac surgery to a degree that allows rational application
of physiotherapy measures ( D. W4)
W3: general principles of subjective and physical examination
of cardiology (D. W6)
W4: principles of interpretation of the results of additional tests
in the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases and cardiac physiotherapy including: electrocardiography (ECG) and ultrasound, ECG functional tests, clinical evaluation of the health status of a patient with cardiovascular diseases according to various scales, in terms of the safe application of physiotherapy methods (D. W7)
W5: the results of exercise testing in cardiovascular physiotherapy
and pulmonary physiotherapy (test on bicycle ergometer, treadmill, walking tests, spiroergometric test), NYHA (New York Heart Association) heart failure scale and MET metabolic equivalent values (D.W8)
W6: principles of management of the patient: unconscious, in the period of acute circulatory failure (D.W15)
W7: assumptions and principles of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health ( International Classification of Functioning Disability and Health, ICF) ( D.W16)

(po angielsku) Can:
U1: perform basic measurements and functional tests with safety precautions, including measurement of heart rate, measurement of blood pressure, marching test, get up and go test, functional test on a moving treadmill according to the Bruce protocol and according to the modified Naughton protocol, and exercise test on a cycloergometer ( D. U28)
U2: plan, select and perform - depending on the clinical and functional status of the patient - physiotherapy procedures in patients with heart failure, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, post myocardial infarction, cardiac arrhythmias
and acquired heart defects (D. U29)
U3: plan, select and perform - depending on the clinical and functional status of the patient - physiotherapy procedures in patients qualified for heart surgery,
after cardiac surgery, with implanted cardiac pacemaker and after treatment with interventional cardiology methods (D.U30)
U4: instruct a patient in the performance of breathing exercises and relaxation techniques in cardiovascular physiotherapy ( D.U31)
U5: instruct a patient with cardiovascular disease in the performance of home exercise and physical activity as a secondary prevention (D.U32)
U6: perform functional tests of the respiratory system,
including spirometry, and interpret the results of spirometry, exercise testing and blood gas testing (D.U33)

K2: perform assigned tasks independently and organize own work appropriately and take responsibility for it
K3: carry out assessment of exercise capacity, exercise tolerance, level of fatigue and overtrainin
K4: interview and analyze collected information
to the extent necessary to conduct physiotherapy
K5: recognize situations threatening human health or life and provide qualified first aid in health and life-threatening situations and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation in adults and children
