1855-F3-FKCHNO-SJ
The main aim of teaching the subject is to familiarise students with the basics of vascular diseases, i.e. arteries, veins, capillaries and lymphatic vessels, their treatment methods and the role of the physiotherapist in the complex therapeutic process of these diseases. Students will acquire knowledge of basic vascular and lymphatic diseases, the ability to assess the severity of vascular disease and co-morbidities, the selection of treatment methods, recognition of treatment complications, disease progression and the principles of monitoring the results of conducted therapy. Students will acquire competence in teamwork and the specificity of working with patients with vascular diseases in adulthood and the elderly treated in the hospital setting.
