Nauki ogólne: Socjologia ogólna i niepełnosprawności 1855-F1-SOiN-SJ

As part of the discussion of issues, basic sociological concepts, approaches and theories are presented. The mechanisms are also discussed in numerous examples and group processes such as social facilitation, social loafing, deindividuation, conformity, group polarization, and scapegoating. Various conditions influencing the development of social attitudes are analyzed, taking into account cognitive, emotional and behavioral factors. Their consequences are also indicated, including stigmatization, stereotype threat, and self-fulfilling prophecy. The student is familiarized with the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health.

Całkowity nakład pracy studenta

1. Mandatory hours with the participation of the teacher: - participation in lectures - 10 hours - participation in exercises – 10 h 20 h = 0.8 ECTS 2. Time devoted by the student to individual work: - reading literature - 6 h = 0.2 ECTS - preparation for exercises – 6 h = 0.2 ECTS - presentation preparation – 8 h = 0.3 ECTS 3. Time required to prepare for the assessment process – 10 h = 0.4 ECTS The total student workload is 50 hours, which corresponds to 2 ECTS points.

Metody dydaktyczne

Lectures: Informative lecture and case studies conducted in a synchronous form using a multimedia presentation on the Microsoft Teams platform, which includes links to short lectures. Exercises: The student presents examples of group process interactions and presents them during classes.
