The lectures are designed to:
- presentation of the basic content of occupational diseases and their place in medicine, introduction to issues related to the prevention of occupational and work-related diseases. Determining the ways of shaping the working conditions in line with the professional potential of the employee.

1.The workload related to the activities requiring the direct participation of academic teachers is:
- participation in lectures - 10 hours,
- consultations with instructors - 2 hours,
- completion of the test: 1 hour.
The workload related to the activities requiring the direct participation of academic teachers is 13 hours, which corresponds to 0.6 ECTS points.
2. Balance of student workload:
- participation in lectures - 10 hours,
- preparation and completion of notes - 2 hours,
- collecting materials and preparing for classes - 2 hours,
- repetition of the material required - 5 hours,
- consultations - 2 hours,
- reading the indicated literature: 5 hours
- preparation for credit and credit - 26 hours.
The total student workload is 26 hours, which corresponds to 1 ECTS point.
3. Scientific research with research and research:
- reading limited scientific literature: 4 hours,
- participation in lectures: 10 hours,
- scientific-solutions consultation: 5 hours
- preparation for classes with scientific activity: 5 hours,
- preparation for credit in the field of scientific-skills for the subject: 10.
The total student workload with gifts of scientific research is 24 hours, corresponding to 1 ECTS credit.

W1: Has general knowledge of the causes, symptoms and principles of diagnosing the most common occupational and environmental diseases (K_W03).
W2: Understands environmental and behavioral conditions of occupational diseases (K_W06).
W3: Knows and understands the principles of prevention of
occupational diseases (K_W19).

U1: Recognizes the basic pathogenic factors and determines the risk of selected occupational diseases (K_U02).
U2: Analyzes the influence of external factors on the human body in the surrounding professional environment (K_U05).
U3: Takes actions aimed at health education and health promotion in the field of occupational diseases (K_U22).
