The classes are intended to explain the basic regulations related to the practice of the profession of a physiotherapist, in terms of legal regulations, organizational conditions, etc.
During the classes, students learn to use and interpret applicable legal regulations, learn about the role of the professional self-government of physiotherapists and possible paths of professional and scientific development. They notice the issues of ethics in the profession of a physiotherapist and learn where to obtain reliable knowledge in the above-mentioned scope. Additionally, the subject is an introduction to the functioning of the health care system both within the framework of guaranteed benefits and the private sector.
Knowledge and skills acquired during classes
on the organization of the physiotherapist profession are necessary for work in the profession of a physiotherapist.

Obligatory hours carried out with the participation of a teacher: - participation in seminars - 10 h 10 h = 0.4 ECTS 2. Time devoted by the student to individual work: - reading literature - 20 h = 0.8 ECTS 3. Time required to prepare for the assessment process - 20 h = 0.8 ECTS Total workload: 50h = 2 ECTS
