(po angielsku) 1. Contact hours with teacher: - participation in lectures: 20 hours, - consultations with an academic teacher: 4 hours. - completion of the test: 1 hour. The workload related to the activities requiring the direct participation of academic teachers is 25 hours, which corresponds to 1.0 ECTS points. 2. Self-study hours: - preparation for lectures- 5 hrs - reading literature- 8 hrs - preparation for test = 12 hrs The total workload related to the self-study hours is 25 hours, which corresponds to 1.0 ECTS point. Altogether: 50 hrs (2.0 ECTS)

(pharmacy) W3: is familiar with specificity of older patients, especially in the matter of differences in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs. K_D.W3, K_D.W5, K_D.W14. (pharmacy) W4: is acquainted with principles of geriatric pharmacotherapy. K_D.W17. (pharmacy) W5: possesses knowledge of drug-drug interactions occurring in senile population. K_D.W7. (pharmacy) W6: is familiar with the problem of drug toxicity in older patients.

(po angielsku) Student: U1: has the ability to assess the nutritional status of a patient on the basis of recognized screening tools. K_A.U5, K_D.U26. (pharmacy) U2: is capable of assessing a pharmacotherapy in terms of its safety. K_D.U12, K_D.U17. (pharmacy) U3: has basic skills in modifying the pharmacotherapy in order to avoid potential drug interactions. K_D.U14, K_D.U29. (pharmacy) U4: can indicate a safer alternative to the newly prescribed drug so as to avoid toxic effects on older patient. K_D.U13. (pharmacy)
