(po angielsku) Student: W1: identifies environmental and epidemiological determinants of the most common paediatric diseases (E.W01) W2: enumerates the clinical manifestations of the most common diseases of individual organs and systems and metabolic disorders of the childhood (C.W34) W3: is familiar with the principles of professional care for healthy and ill children and adolescents (feeding, vaccination, medical check-up) with particular emphasis on metabolic errors and immune disorders (E.W02) W4: is familiar with principles of nutrition of healthy and ill children considering the latest recommendations (E.W02) W5: explains the dietary treatment of children with GI tract diseases, malnutrition, nutritional deficiencies, metabolic disorders and diabetes (E.W02) W6: justifies the use of elimination diet in children with food allergy (E.W02) W7: knows the causes, symptoms, principles of diagnosing and treatment of most common diseases of childhood in the field gastroenterology, allergology, inborn metabolic errors, paediatric cardiology, paediatric nephrology, endocrine disorders, respiratory system diseases, immunology, connective tissue diseases, paediatric oncology and haematology, paediatric neurology (E.W03) W8: describes common problems related to behaviour disturbances, mental disabilities and sleep disturbances (E.W04) W9: enumerates the most common life-threatening conditions and procedures for treating them in paediatric pulmonary diseases, paediatric haematology & oncology, cardiology, nephrology, neurology, metabolic errors, GI tract diseases, allergology and endocrinology (E.W06) W10: knows causes, symptoms, and principles of diagnosis and treatment of the most common hereditary diseases (E.W37)

(po angielsku) Student: U1: is able to perform a medical interview with a child and their family, incl. chronically or seriously ill (E.U02) U2: draws conclusions from patient's history (E.U02) U3: proceeds a complete and targeted physical examination of a child at every age (E.U04) U4: can assess the general condition of the patient and the state of consciousness (E.U07) U5: can assess and monitor basic parameters and take measurements using various scales and score systems (E.U09) U6: is able to determine the stage of sexual maturity of a child (E.U10) U7: carries out differential diagnosis of most common childhood diseases in the field of gastroenterology, allergology, paediatric pulmonary diseases, cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology and diabetology, immunology, oncology, haematology, neurology and metabolic disorder (E.U12) U8: evaluates and describes the somatic and mental state of a child (E.U13) U9: identifies life-threatening emergencies (E.U14) U10: can select key diagnostic tests or prepare the diagnostic plan and initial treatment for most common paediatric diseases (E.U16) U11: can identify indications for hospitalisation of a child (E.U20) U12: interprets laboratory results in most common paediatric diseases (allergology, gastroenterology, haematology, immunology, oncology, rheumatology, nephrology, endocrinology and diabetology, metabolic disorders) (E.U24) U13: interprets results of pulmonary function tests (E.U24) U14: can define indications for parenteral nutrition in chronically ill patients and can apply adequate nutritional treatment (E.U25) U15: performs basic medical procedures (incl. taking temperature and pulse, non-invasive pressure measurement, monitoring vital signs) in children (E.U29) U16: assists in blood and blood products transfusions (E.U30) U17: assists in skin prick tests and interprets the results (E.U30) U18: assists in performing of endoscopy of the gastrointestinal tract and draws the therapeutic conclusions from the results of the biopsy (E.U30) U19: plans specialist consultations (E.U32) U20: can properly document medical observations and a course of treatment (E.U38) U21: draws conclusions from incorrectly prepared documentation to avoid medical errors in future (G.U08)
