Efekty uczenia się - wiedza
(po angielsku) W1 female reproductive functions, related disorders and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, in particular:
1) pregnancy,
2) physiological and pathological childbirth and puerperium,
3) basic methods of diagnostics and gynecological and obstetric procedures; (F.W9.)
W2 the issues of modern imaging tests, in particular the radiological symptomatology of basic pregnancy abnormalities, (F.W10)
W3. basic methods of fetal diagnosis and therapy;
W4: has knowledge about neonatal nutrition and the importance of breastfeeding promotion;
W5: knows the current guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation in newborns;
W6: has knowledge about the "Child-Friendly Hospital";
W7: knows the most common health and life-threatening conditions for newborns;
W8: is familiar with the differences in the physiology and pathology of newborns.
W9: legal regulations regarding the provision of health services, patient rights, labor law, the basics of practicing the medical profession and the functioning of the medical self-government (G.W5.)
W10: legal regulations regarding transplants, artificial procreation, abortion, aesthetic procedures, palliative treatment, mental illness (G.W9.)
W11: legal regulations regarding medical confidentiality, keeping medical records, criminal, civil and professional liability of a doctor (G.W11.)
W12: cultural, ethnic and national determinants of human behavior (D.W19.)
W13: history of medicine, medicine of primitive peoples and the oldest civilizations and characteristic features of medieval medicine (D.W20.)
Efekty uczenia się - umiejętności
(po angielsku) The student is able to:
U1 recognize the signs and symptoms of abnormal pregnancy (abnormal bleeding, uterine contractions) (F.U13.);
U2 interpret the results of the physical examination of a pregnant woman (arterial pressure, maternal and fetal heart rate) and the results of laboratory tests showing pathologies of pregnancy (F.U14.);
U3 interpret cardiotocography (CTG) (F.U15.);
U4. recognize the onset of labor and its incorrect duration (F.U16);
U5. interpret signs and symptoms during puerperium (F.U17);
U6. Assesses the condition of a newborn on the Apgar scale and its maturity and is able to examine neonatal reflexes; (E.U8.)
U7. Can compare anthropometric measurements with data on percentile grids; (E.U9.)
U8. Is able to recognize states of imminent danger to life; (E.U14.)
U9. Respects the rights of the patient (D.U15.)
U10. Is able to perform basic medical procedures and procedures, including: 1) temperature measurement, heart rate measurement, non-invasive blood pressure measurement, 2) monitoring of vital signs using a cardiomonitor, pulse oximetry, pulse oximetry test, 3) oxygen treatment, assisted and replacement ventilation in a newborn, 4) intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, peripheral venous cannulation, peripheral venous blood collection, blood culture collection, arterial blood collection, arterialized capillary blood collection, (E.U29)
