Classes are being led in the form of seminars and tutorials. Seminars are purposing the common discussing on general issues referring of diagnostic methods and the treatment applied to orthopaedics and traumatology, and detailed of referring etiologies, symptomatology, diagnostics and methods of the treatment of congenital and acquired diseases of the hip joint, of the backbone, the foot, congenital and acquired disorder of axis of both the length of lower limbs, diseases and injuries of the knee joint, degenerative changes of the hip joint at adult people, injuries of the upper limb, the pelvis and the lower limb, injuries of the spine, diseases and injuries of the hand and damage to peripheral nerves, inflammations of non-specific and peculiar, primary and metastatic tumors of bones.
However during exercises, in smaller (4-6 person) subgroups, discussed issues during seminars are being practical presented about the form by the assistant during reinspecting patients both hospitalized in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology and treated in Hospital Outpatient Orthopedic and Traumatologic Ambulatory
Students have the opportunity to watch also live orthopedic surgery operations. Tutorials are enabling the student to purchase practical skills referring to the diagnostic procedure in the musculoskeletal diseases, as well as purchasing of useful knowledge of posibility to treat them, both on the basic like on the advanced level.

Kryteria oceniania
The final mark in the subject of Orthopaedics is a weighted average of the following ratings:
A. Continuous evaluation (the current preparation for classes and the activity). Max. number of points – 0-4pts.; > 50%; K1 – K6;
B. Practical test according to orthopaedic physical examination. Max. number of points – 0-20pts.; > 60%; W3-W4; U1 - U4;
C. Exit test with the assistant. Max. number of points – 0-16pkt.; >60% W1 – W6; U1 - U8;
D. The final test exam in module. Max. number of points – 0-60pts. >60% W1 – W6; U1 - U8;
The condition to be admitted to the examination is achieved 24 points during classes of Orthopaedics (points A, B and C) and also achieved the credit of other subjects in module.
The weighted average is calculated according to the equation:
Final credit mark = (A + B + C + 3*D) / 2,2
Credit >60%
The obtained percentage of the grade forming a credit in Orthopedics will be the basis for calculating the common grade for the entire module, described in the regulations of the Module of Musculoskeletal Diseases.
The continuous evaluation of the activity during classes of Orthopaedics will be influence by:
- presentation of the clinical topic
-and the student's attitude to obligation put on during the classes of orthopaedics.
For credit the Orthopedics course, it is necessary to obtain min 60 points.
