(po angielsku) F.W1. knows and understands the causes, symptoms, principles of diagnosis and therapeutic management in relation to the most common diseases requiring surgical intervention, in particular: a) acute and chronic diseases of the abdominal cavity, b) chest diseases, c) diseases of the limbs and head, d) bone fractures and organ injuries; F.W3. knows the rules of qualification and performance as well as the most common complications of basic surgical procedures and invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; F.W4. knows the principles of perioperative safety, preparation of the patient for surgery, general and local anesthesia and controlled sedation; F.W5. knows postoperative treatment with analgesic therapy and postoperative monitoring; F.W14. knows the basic issues of surgical transplantation, indications for the transplantation of irreversibly damaged organs and tissues and the related procedures;

(po angielsku) F.U1. assists in a typical surgical procedure, prepares the operating field and locally anesthetizes the operated area; F.U2. uses basic surgical tools; F.U3. adheres to the principles of asepsis and antisepsis; F.U4. treats a straight wound, puts on and changes a sterile surgical dressing; F.U5. assumes peripheral puncture; F.U6. examines the nipples, lymph nodes, the thyroid gland and the abdominal cavity in terms of an acute abdomen, and also performs a finger exam through the anus; F.U7. assesses the result of radiological examination in the scope of the most common types of fractures, especially those of long bones; F.U8. performs emergency immobilization of the limb, selects the type of immobilization necessary for use in typical clinical situations and controls the correctness of the limb blood supply after applying the immobilizing dressing; F.U9. supplies external bleeding; F.U12. monitors the postoperative period based on basic vital parameters;
