(po angielsku) U1: conducts a complete and focused physical examination of an adult patient (E K_U03) - learning outcome implemented in the area of distance learning and stationary conditions
U2: can perform basic procedures and medical procedures, including:
a) measurement of body temperature, measurement of heart rate, non-invasive measurement of blood pressure,
b) monitoring vital parameters using a cardiomonitor, pulse oximetry,
c) spirometry test, oxygen treatment, assisted and substitute ventilation,
d) insertion of an oropharyngeal tube,
e) intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, cannulation of peripheral veins, collection of peripheral venous blood, collection of blood cultures, collection of arterial blood, collection of arterialized capillary blood,
f) taking swabs from the nose, throat and skin, puncturing the pleural cavity,
g) urinary bladder catheterization in women and men, gastric gavage, gastric lavage, enema,
h) standard resting electrocardiogram with interpretation, electrical cardioversion and cardiac defibrillation,
i) simple strip tests and blood glucose measurement; (E K_U29)

Wymagania wstępne
(po angielsku) A student continuing education in general and gastroenterological surgery must demonstrate knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the gastrointestinal tract, as well as knowledge acquired during surgical propaedeutics classes.
