(po angielsku) W1: knows the principles of qualification and performance of basic surgical procedures and invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (F K_W03) W2: knows the rules of perioperative safety, patient preparation for surgery, general and local anesthesia and controlled sedation (F K_W04) W3: knows postoperative treatment with analgesic therapy and postoperative monitoring; (F K_W05) W4: knows the genetic, environmental and epidemiological conditions of the most common diseases; (E K_W01) W5: knows and understands the causes, symptoms, principles of diagnosis and therapeutic management in relation to the most common diseases requiring surgical intervention, taking into account the distinctiveness of childhood, including in particular: a) acute and chronic diseases of the abdominal cavity, b) chest diseases, c) diseases of the limbs and head, d) bone fractures and organ injuries; (F K_W01)

(po angielsku) U1: conducts a full and targeted physical examination of an adult patient (E K_U03) U2: can perform basic medical procedures and treatments, including: a) body temperature measurement, heart rate measurement, non-invasive blood pressure measurement, b) monitoring of vital signs using a cardiac monitor, pulse oximetry, c) spirometry, oxygen treatment, assisted and substitute ventilation, d) insertion of an oropharyngeal tube, e) intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, peripheral venous cannulation, peripheral venous blood collection, blood culture collection, arterial blood collection, arterialized capillary blood collection, f) taking swabs from the nose, throat and skin, puncture of the pleural cavity, g) urinary bladder catheterization in women and men, gastric probing, gastric lavage, enema, h) standard resting electrocardiogram with interpretation, electrical cardioversion and cardiac defibrillation, i) simple test strips and blood glucose measurement; (E K_U29) U3: can keep patient's medical records (E K_U38) U4: adheres to the principles of asepsis and antisepsis; (F K_U03) U5: imposes peripheral puncture; (F K_U05) U6: assists in carrying out the following medical procedures and treatments: a) transfusion of blood products and blood products, b) drainage of the pleural cavity, c) puncture of the pericardial sac, d) puncture of the peritoneal cavity, e) lumbar puncture, f) fine needle biopsy, g) epidermal tests, h) intradermal and scarification tests, and interprets their results; (E K_U30) U7: assesses pressure ulcers and applies appropriate dressings; : (E K_U35) U8 assists in a typical surgical procedure, is able to prepare the operating field and local anesthetize the operated area; (: F K_U01) U9: can use basic surgical instruments; (F K_U02) U10: can treat a simple wound, apply and change a sterile surgical dressing (F K_U04) U11: can examine the nipples, lymph nodes, the thyroid gland and the abdominal cavity in terms of acute abdomen, as well as perform a finger examination through the anus; (F K_U06) U12: can monitor the postoperative period based on basic vital signs (F K_U12)
