W1: has knowledge of the principles of referring for and performing basic surgical procedures and invasive diagnostic and treatment procedures, as well as their most common complications - (F K_W03); this outcome is realized both in remote and stationary learning
W2: explains the principles of perioperative safety, preparation of patient for surgery, administration of general and local anaesthesia and patient-controlled sedation (F K_W04); this outcome is realized both in remote and stationary learning
W3: is familiar with the principles of postoperative treatment, including pain management and therapeutic drug monitoring
; (F K_W05) – this outcome is realized both in remote and stationary learning
W4: knows the causes, symptoms, and principles of diagnosis and treatment of the most common diseases requiring surgical intervention;( E K_W01) – this outcome is realized in remote learning
W5: enumerates the clinical manifestations of the most common diseases of individual organs and systems, metabolic diseases, and water-electrolyte and acid-base imbalance

U1: is able to perform a full and targeted physical examination of an adult patient (E K_U03) – this outcome is realized both in remote and stationary learning
U2:
Knows how to perform basic medical procedures, including:
1) taking temperature (core and peripheral) and pulse, non-invasive pressure measurement,
2) monitoring vital signs using a cardiac monitor, pulse oximeter,
3) spirometry testing, oxygen therapy, adjuvant and mechanical ventilation,
4) oropharyngeal airway insertion,
5) intravascular, intramuscular and subcutaneous injection, peripheral venous cannulation, peripheral blood draw, blood culture draw, arterial blood draw, arterialised capillary blood draw,
6) nasal, pharyngeal and skin swabbing,
7) urinary catheterisation in men and women, gastric probing, gastric lavage, enema,
8) standard resting electrocardiogram with interpretation, electrical cardioversion, defibrillation,
9) basic strip tests and blood glucose level tests
