Dermatologia i wenerologia
1655-Lek3DERM-J
The lectures are designed to present current knowledge in the field of: skin structure and physiology and pathology, basics of dermatological symptomatology; bacterial and fungal infections, viral and parasitic diseases; erythematous dermatoses and drug reactions; allergic skin diseases; psoriasis; flat lichen; bullous diseases; connective tissue diseases; skin vascular diseases; granulomatous diseases and reactive changes; precancerous conditions and skin cancers; skin lymphomas; pigmented disorders; diseases of hair, nails, sebaceous and sweat glands, photodermatosis; phototherapy; surgical treatment of some skin lesions. In the field of sexually transmitted diseases, the student, during lectures, gets acquainted with the following topics: sexually transmitted diseases, i.e. syphilis, gonorrhea, urethritis [gonorrhea (specific) and non-gonococcal (non-specific) - NGU], acquired AIDS immunity syndrome (disease caused by HIV infection).
The tutorials are carried out in the Dermatology Clinic and Outpatient Clinic, both at the patient's bed and on the basis of case analysis and didactic discussion. During the exercises, the student acquires skills in the practical recognition of basic skin eruptions (primary and secondary), becomes familiar with the etiopathogenesis and clinical symptoms of selected dermatological diseases, as well as sexually transmitted diseases. Differential diagnosis and treatment of the most common skin diseases and venereal diseases are learned. Students acquire the skills of dermatological examination consisting of collecting a focused interview and proper description of skin lesions. The classes present the principles applicable to diagnose and treat skin and venereal diseases, including subjective and physical examination, interpretation of diagnostic test results, leading to an appropriate final diagnosis and treatment. During the classes, the student becomes familiar with the specifics of specialist laboratories: experimental dermatology, dermatosurgery, immunology, histopathology, dermatoscopy, phototherapy and photodynamic therapy.
