W-1: The student knows the basic facts from the history of the Christianity in Asia Minor.
W-2: The student knows the structure and ideals behind the Byzantine Empire.

U-1: The student can explain what religious denominations dominated in Asia Minor at different periods.
U-2: The student can explain the importance of Eastern and Western interventions in the life of the Christians in Asia Minor.
Learning outcomes - social competencies
K-1: The student is aware of the external and internal reasons for the demise of the Church in Asia Minor.
K-2: The student can discuss in a civil way on the complexity of the religious issues in the history of the territory of modern Turkey.
K-3: The student is able to distinguish between various Eastern Churches, their customs and creeds.
