(po angielsku) Contact hours with teacher: - participation in lectures - 16 hrs - participation in on line classes – 4 hrs - consultation with teacher – 5 hrs Self-study hours: - reading literature - 20 hrs - preparation for discussion at the class – 10 hrs - preparation for a group presentation of a given subject at the class – 20 hrs - preparation for examination - 25 hrs Altogether: 100 hrs (4 ECTS)

(po angielsku) W1: student possesses broad knowledge about maritime legal relations and their participants, both in national and international dimension W2: he/she is familiar with legal regime regulating common maritime contracts and liabilities relating to maritime activities W3: he/she is acquainted with original institutions of maritime law, deriving from national laws as well as international conventions, and how they are interpreted in chosen jurisdictions

(po angielsku) U1: student has the ability to apply maritime legal norms to solve disputes in maritime relations and provide legal advice relating to maritime affairs U2: he/she is capable of presenting speech on a given subject of maritime law, referring to international maritime conventions

(po angielsku) K1: student shows creativity in search for problems' solutions K2: he/she understands the need for broadening his knowledge and abilities in the area of maritime law

(po angielsku) - Expository teaching methods (participatory lecture, informative lecture, discussion) - Exploratory teaching methods (panel, brainstorming)

(po angielsku) Knowledge of English language sufficient enough to read and communicate on intermediate level
