(po angielsku) Classes requiring direct participation of the teacher – lecture, practical classes: 45 hrs. Consultations with the teacher: 30 hrs. Self-study: Preparation for the classes (reading case studies, assigned articled, watching video materials): 10 hrs Self-study: Training and mastering the application of strategic analysis methods and techniques - learning for the practical test: 20 hrs. Self-study: Learning for the final theoretical examination: 25 hrs. Self-study: Extensive reading assignments (producing a presentation and a summary): 10 hrs. Self-study: Collecting data, analyzing a case study, producing a report and a presentation: 10 hrs. TOTAL: 150 hrs. (6 ECTS)

A student knows, understands and considers – from the perspective of management theory – economic and social processes in organisations and their environment (including global environment), their sources, relations between them and long-term consequences (outcomes) (K_W02) W2. A student knows, understands and considers – from the perspective of management theory – the relations between organisations and their stakeholders, the rules of developing these relations in accordance with ethical standards, CSR and development-oriented goals of an organisation (K_W03) W3. A student knows, understands and considers thoroughly methods and tools of collecting data and conducting strategic analysis (K_W04) W4. A student knows, understands and considers – from the perspective of management theory – the principles and methods of rationalising decision making, regarding strategic decisions in particular (K_W07) W5. A student knows, understands and considers – from the perspective of management theory – the process of strategy implementation (K_W08)

A student can forecast the changes in the organisation environment, identify and analyse the issues concerning the strategy and development of an organisation (K_U01) U2. A student can apply up-to-date strategic analysis methods and techniques in an efficient way (K_U04) U3. A student can make use of acquired knowledge concerning strategic analysis methods and critically analyse the effectiveness and applicability of this knowledge (K_U05) U4. A student can develop the solutions to particular problems and implement remedial actions (K_U06) U5. A student can design and craft organisation strategies (K_U08) U6. A student can understand and analyse economic phenomena using research methods (K_U09)
