(po angielsku) Contact hours with teacher: - participation in lectures – 30 hrs - laboratory- 30 hrs Self-study hours: - preparation for lectures – 5 hrs - writing essays/ papers/ projects- 15 hrs - reading literature- 30 hrs - preparation for examination- 15 hrs Altogether: 125 hrs (5 ECTS)

(po angielsku) W1: has basic knowledge of the concept of a planet W2: is familiar with methods of planets detection W3: is acquainted with results of planet searches W4: possesses knowledge of processes governing formation of planets W5: is familiar with processes that influence evolution of planetary systems W6: knows basic properties of planetary atmospheres (K_W02, K_W03, K_W04)

(po angielsku) U1: is able to apply the scientific method to problem-solving, conducting experiments, drawing conclusions and testing hypothesis related to problems of planetary system physics U2: Can find relevant information in specialist literature, from books, research papers, databases and other sources U3: Can present research findings (experimental, theoretical or numerical) in the written or oral form U4: Can efficiently communicate both with specialists and non-specialists in terms of the topics relevant to problems of planetary system problems U5: Understands the need and can define the directions for self-education (K_U01, K_U05, K_U09, K_U10, K_U12)
