K1 Student has the basic knowledge of the polymer chemistry and materials chemistry – K_W01
K2 Student knows the polymers present in nature – K_W01
K3 Student can distinguish natural polymers from synthetic once - K_W02
K4 Student knows the sources of different biopolymers, the methods of its modifications - K_W02
K5 Student knows the areas of biopolymers application - K_W02
K6 Has knowledge of basic terms, concepts, principles related to biomaterials science – K_W02
K7 Student can find a relation between a chemical composition, properties and applications of biomaterials and biopolymers – K_W01, K_W05
K8 Student understands the chemical and biochemical basics of tissue-implant interaction - K_W02
K9 The student knows how to plan a proper experiment and can verify the obtained results – K_W09

(po angielsku) At the start of this course the student should have acquired an active knowledge of English, as well as all required basic knowledge of general and organic chemistry. The student should be also familiar with the basic knowledge about usage of different materials, also polymeric materials, in a human life.
