Seminar contains:
- basic knowledge necessary to writing dissertation
- perfecting the skills to write dissertations according to current requirements
- basic information about authors’ rules and copyrights
- perfecting work in the group under the supervision
- perfecting ability to search the research literature for PhD dissertation
- preparation for writing research articles and conference presentations

Teaching methods
Seminar offers classes based on conversation using power point presentation of the literature and research results. During the seminar the research work toward PhD dissertation is planned under the supervising work of promoter.
Results discussion is also provided.

Prerequisites
Basic knowledge about chemistry on master level, skills to solve the scientific problems, skills to prepare power point presentation and present the results. Skills to work in the group.

PhD candidate gets mark according to the quality of the presentations, writing the text, discussions the problems on the seminar.
