Total student workload
Besides participation in the classes (15 hours), student is supposed to prepare an extended abstract (10 hours).

W1: Knows rules for preparing a research article
W2: Knows the structure of a scientific text
W3: Knows rnakings and other ways to evaluate research journals
W4: Knows submission procedures as well as ways to communicate with the ediorial office

U1: Can prepare a WORD document with the strucutre of a research article, including figures, tables, pictures, formulas and bibliography
U2: Can include references for appropriate parts of the research article, including those for tables, equations, and hyperlinks
U3: Can sraft a cover letter and participate in communication with the editors

K1: Is able to presenting the results of research, both in a form of articles and presentations in a clear and straghtforward manner.

Assessment criteria
There are two assignments: an essay and an extended abstract. Both are evaluated using a standard scale and the final score is a combination of the two.
