1. Urban active mobility (including cycling) in the context of sustainable development;
2. Sustainable urban mobility in strategic documents and mobility plans (SUMP – sustainable urban mobility plan);
3. Soft (social) conditions of urban cycling policies;
4. Hard (infrastructural) conditions of urban cycling policies;
5. Cycling as a mode of transport (multimodal transport, cycling in urban logistics);
6. Development of bicycle sharing systems in Poland and in the world;
7. Perspectives of urban mobility development – electromobility and personal transporters.

Field trip: visit in one Polish city/town and meeting local cycling officer

Learning outcomes - knowledge

Student: W1: knows the basic rules of implementation of cycling policy in the context of sustainable development idea; W2: knows the basic rules of implementation of cycling policy in the social and infrastructural sphere; W3: knows the basic concepts and definitions related to urban cycling and cycling policy.

Learning outcomes - skills

Student: U1: can discuss about possibilities of development active mobility, especially cycling in urban areas creating own opinions; U2: can propose solutions for development of urban cycling; U3: can evaluate cycling policy activities of local governments.

Learning outcomes - social competencies

Student: K1: is aware of need to implementing solutions for improvement of urban transport quality; K2: is aware of social benefits arising from active mobility development, especially urban cycling; K3: can cooperate during the group tasks; K4: can interact and discuss with local governors.
