The aim of the course Across Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans – Part Two is to acquaint students with geographical, historical, ethnic, cultural and tourism issues of assorted countries from New World continents – Sub-Saharan Africa, Americas, Australia and Oceania (Senegal, Ethiopia, Niger, Benin, Zambia, Botswana, RSA, Namibia, Gabon, Mauritius, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Guatemala, Mexico, Cuba, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Vanuatu ) The subject will focus on their main tourist attraction, both of natural (geotourism) and human origin (cultural tourism). There would be also presented some historical background for particular countries territorial development, historical regions and contemporary administrative units, as well as culture, ethnic and social life issues. Some practical information concerning traveling and visiting the described countries will be given.
