Law of Treaties 2751-SM-S2-2-DK-PT

Lecture on the Law of treaties consists of 15 h. The law of treaties is a part of public international law. Lecture is aimed at more detailed presentation of the issues conncted to treaties (more detailed than in the course of public international law). Those issueas are among others: definition of a treaty; the right to make treaties; organs authorized to conclude treaties; the process of concluding them; duration of treaties; causes of invalidity of treaties, suspension of treaties, their denouncement; reservations to treaties and succession with regard to treaties.

Total student workload

Lecture - 15 h; time devoted to individual wotk of the student needed to pass the exam, including the previous taking of notes, revision of the materials, reading literature - 20 h; direct preparations for the examination - 25 h. In total: 60 h.

(in Polish) K_W01 Student/ka zna mechanizmy funkcjonowania prawa traktatów oraz procesu zawierania traktatów; K_W02 Student/ka zna regulacje prawne z zakresu prawa traktatów; K_W03 Student/ka zna rolę traktatów i prawa traktatów we współczesnych stosunkach międzynarodowych oraz w polityce zagranicznej Polski.

The didactic method is a lecture conducted by the academic teacher. Frequently the discusion is held. If students want to they may actively partcipate in the lecture by asking questions or discussing certain issues.
