6. The development of medicine from ancient Greek times on
7. From Platon to Darwin: from the great chain of beings to biological variability
8. What is life, vitalism and abiogeneis
9. Behaviourism: from Descartes to Goodall and de Waals
10. history of taxonomy: from Aristotle to Hennig
11. History of biological disciplines: genetics, neurobiology, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, ecology
12. Advances in methodology: microscopy, electrophoresis, sequencing, neurobiology
