K_W01: has a basic knowledge of the language / languages of a given cultural area K_W08: has a basic knowledge of selected historical, social, religious, philosophical and political issues conditioning the development of a given cultural area;

K_U02: can read with understanding texts from the language / languages of a given cultural area; K_U17: is able to conduct a library query, use databases and use the Internet, prepare a bibliography and footnotes with appropriate attention to copyright, format documents using a text editor, prepare a presentation; K_U21: can recognize different registers and varieties of the language / languages of a given cultural area;

K_K05: appreciates the tradition and cultural heritage of a selected cultural area and is aware of the responsibility for their preservation; K_K08: thanks to linguistic competence, he is prepared to move efficiently in a given cultural area;

Prerequisites

The student has the knowledge of the Italian language at the B2 / C1 level. He/she also has a basic knowledge of selected historical, social, religious, philosophical and political issues determining the development of the Apennine Peninsula.

Assessment criteria

Exposing and presenting methods.
Class attendance is obligatory. 2 absences allowed.
Completion of the semester on the basis of participation and preparation for classes. The final test provides a written answer to the questions in an open form.
The applicable grading scale is: 0-59% of the maximum number of points - failed, 60-68% - 3,0, 69-74% - 3,5, 75-82% - 4,0, 83-89% - 4,5, 90-100% - 5,0.
