Assessment criteria
According to § 30 of the UMK Study Regulations, “1. Credit for compulsory classes […] is granted by the instructor based on attendance, the student’s activity, and the grades obtained.”
All learning outcomes in the areas of knowledge, skills, and social competences are verified through continuous and final evaluation.
Components of the evaluation:
Ongoing checks of the literature indicated by the instructor.
The student’s active participation in class and timely completion of tasks and exercises assigned by the academic teacher.
Progress tests in terminology and morphological analysis, in a number determined by the instructor for the given cycle.
Assessment criteria and grading scale adopted:
Class participation and timely fulfillment of requirements (knowledge of the assigned literature, completion of tasks and progress tests) may be graded using a points system, assessed as a percentage, or averaged from standard grades for each listed component.
To pass the course, it is necessary to obtain positive grades and/or 60 percent of the points allocated to all evaluation components and forms taken into account.
