Literature and culture today: Utopias and dystopias in literature and culture 2510-f1ENG3S-LCT-UAD
The course examines selected literary and film utopias and dystopias, starting from Thomas More’s Utopia and ending with contemporary postapocalyptic tales. The texts are situated in their socio-historical context to discuss the social and ideological problems reflected in the narratives, especially the relations between humans, technology and nature.

- active course participation: preparation and participation in class discussions and comments on Moodle (35% of the final grade)
- final project: presentation (25%)
