Foreign Language Teaching Methodology 2500-MNJO-NJPjO
This course includes 10 hours fo lecture, where students are introduced to the theories of L1 and L2 acquisition and the approaches to language teaching methods.
This will be compelemnted by 20 hours of practcal classes, wherestudents get to know the techniques of designing lessons and teaching the particular skills. The communicative approach will be a reference point for the class dicussion and analyses.

End-of-course test checking the understanding of the theory related to language methods (to check W1 and W2)
Class
The final grade is composed of the following components:
continuous assessment (25% ): (checks W1 , K1, K2) :
• the use of specialized terminology to describe teaching situations (e.g. in lesson observation);
• evaluation of teaching materials and techniques, with the use of professional criteria;
• presentation techniques to a group;
portfolio (50 % of the final score) : (verifying W2 , W3 , U2, U3) including the examples of students’ work requiring:
• operationalization of lesson objectives and the use of Bloom's taxonomy;
• Creation of a foreign language lesson plans;
• presenting or creating exercises in accordance with an approach ;
• preparation of authentic materials ,
• creating of an original language lesson plan , which includes behavioral lesson objectives and appropriate lesson stages ;
• creation and inclusion of pronunciation language drills;
• create and enable action series based on the principles of Total Physical Response ( incorporation of a grammar point) ;
• the creation and integration of practical oral communicative test checking mastery of the material of a lesson
final test (summative assessment) test (25 % of the total score) : (checks W1 , U1)
