Student’s individual work :
- preparing for classes: Students will prepare for each workshop by reviewing relevant theoretical material on the four therapeutic approaches.
- participation in discussions and activities: Active involvement in group discussions, video consultations, and hands-on tasks will be required to facilitate personal reflection and deeper understanding.
- post-class reflection: At the end of each workshop, students will share their reflections on the therapeutic methods discussed, identifying how these methods align with their personal views and future interests in psychotherapy.
Learning outcomes - knowledge
(in Polish) - Gain a solid understanding of the core principles of psychoanalytic, Gestalt, existential, and cognitive-behavioural therapies.
- Develop insight into how these therapeutic approaches are applied in real-life therapeutic sessions.
- Understand the importance of personal values and attitudes in choosing and practicing psychotherapy.
Learning outcomes - skills
(in Polish) - Ability to analyse and compare different therapeutic approaches using video consultations and real-life case studies.
- Enhanced critical thinking and reflective skills, enabling students to assess the relevance of various therapeutic methods in different contexts.
- Practical experience in integrating theoretical knowledge into therapeutic scenarios.

- Greater self-awareness and empathy for clients’ experiences, fostering a deeper connection to the therapeutic process.

Teaching methods
(in Polish) - Workshops: Students will participate in practical workshops focusing on the four key psychotherapies. These workshops will be engaging, providing both theoretical insights and practical experiences.
- Small Group Discussions: Students will engage in reflective discussions, analysing their own values and attitudes toward different therapeutic principles.
- Video Consultations: Real therapeutic sessions will be analysed, offering students an opportunity to observe and compare how psychotherapists apply different methods in practice.
- Self-Assessment Questionnaires: These tools will help students reflect on their understanding of the therapies and their personal resonance with them.
Prerequisites
