Master's thesis seminar

The seminar is devoted to the implementation of a master's thesis, which is a mature, independent project carried out by the Student under the care of a promoter.
1st semester:
The student independently searches for literature and makes a critical discussion of it in a problem approach, he can also conduct a meta-analysis.
II semester
Based on the collected literature, the student identifies a research gap and formulates a research problem and hypotheses (in the case of confirmation studies).
3rd semester
The student conducts research online or directly, analyzes the results obtained and describes the study and conclusions.
IV semester
The student prepares a report (about 40-50 standard pages), containing a summary of literature and own research, in a way that allows to assess their value and replicate.
Total student workload
Classes last four semesters for the fourth and fifth year of study.
Attendance in class- 120 hours
Analysis of subject literature - 60 hours
Conducting and analyzing empirical research- 120 hours
Development of the report - 100 hours
Total 400 hours=16 ECTS

Explains the relationship between theoretical concepts and their conceptualization and operationalization
He knows the principles of triangulation of data, methodology, theory and research.
Selects the appropriate statistics for the problem under study and the properties of the measuring tools
He knows the rules of searching for subject literature.

Assessment criteria
The master's thesis is subjected to an independent review, and the final evaluation is the average of the supervisor and reviewer's assessments.
