Application of electrophysiological methods in clinical practice and research 2404-P-4-NP-ZMEP
The main objective of the classes is to introduce students to the basics of EEG signal acquisition and analysis, and to showcase electrophysiological methods and their potential applications in experimental research and the clinical practice of a neuropsychologist.
Students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in the registration and analysis of the human brain's bioelectric signal, designing studies using electrophysiological techniques: qualitative and quantitative EEG analysis, and evoked potentials. The advantages, disadvantages, and applications of electrophysiological methods in the diagnosis of neuropsychological disorders will be discussed during the classes.

Attendance and activity during classes (maximum of 2 absences)
Written exam, 20-22 descriptive questions with a minimum 50% threshold required to pass.
