General Psychopathology:
1) Criteria for Recognizing Clinically Significant Symptoms,
2) Basic Concepts and Terms in Psychopathology,
3) Cognitive Functions (Symptoms of Memory, Attention, Perception, Thinking, and Communication Disorders),
4) Emotional and Motivational Functions (Symptoms of Affective Disorders – Type, Dynamics, and Saturation, Motivational Functions – Mobility, Impulsivity, and Intentionality),
5) Integrating Mental Functions (Symptoms of Consciousness, Orientation, Intellectual Function, and Personality Disorders),
6) The Process of Mental State Assessment
Symptomatic Syndromes:
1) Criteria for the diagnosis of symptom-defined mental disorder syndromes,
2) A discussion of symptom-defined syndromes (e.g., dementia, intellectual disability, amnestic, asthenic, hallucinatory, catatonic, delusional, paranoid, addictive, depressive, manic, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, and others).
3) Introduction of the current classifications of mental disorders.

(in Polish) Wiedza: student posiada wiadomości na temat głównych klasyfikacji zaburzeń psychicznych obowiązujących w Polsce i za granicą.

Learning outcomes - skills

(in Polish) Umiejętności - posiada opisu symptomów zaburzeń psychicznych, ma dystans do otrzymywanych danych zbieranych różnymi metodami. Student jest w stanie zaproponować postawienie diagnozy według klasyfikacji ICD 10 oraz krytycznie odnieść się do oczekiwanych przez pacjenta sposobów leczenia. Student będzie gotowy zaproponować adekwatną terapię wobec zgłaszanych dolegliwości i z dystansem ocenić bliskie i odległe efekty proponowanych strategii terapeutycznych.

Prerequisites

(in Polish) Znajomość podstaw rozwoju człowieka w aspekcie biologicznym, psychologicznym i społecznym. Konieczna znajomość podstaw cyklu rozwoju dzieci i młodzieży oraz osób we wczesnej dorosłości.
