This course is designed as an introduction to website development. During the classes student can expect to learn basic concepts related to building, designing, and publishing a website. Some principal issues about quality of the website projects will occur too.
Detailed schedule:
1. History of the World Wide Web
2. Introduction to HTML
3. Introduction to CSS
4. Introduction to CMS (WordPress)
a. Introduction to the interface (settings) - 2 hours
b. Static pages, posts, comments - 2 hours.
c. Personalization of appearance (templates and their settings) - 2 hours.
d. Website structure (menus, widgets) - 2 hours.
e. Extras (extending the functionality of the website) - 4 hours.
